🧗Lebon and Grosset are European climbing champions

Young climbers from Reunion Island achieved a remarkable performance at the European Climbing Championships held in Slovakia.

Several athletes distinguished themselves by winning medals and achieving good rankings:

• Léo Grosset won a gold medal in the U17 sprint category, retaining his European Championship title, which he had already won the previous year. He dominated the competition hands down.
• Manon Lebon , originally from Réunion (Tamponnaise), also won a gold medal by winning in the U21 category.
• Louise Fontaine won a fine bronze medal in the same U21 category. Two weeks earlier, she had finished second in the European Cup.
• Marius Payet Gaboriaud finished in 5th place in the U21 category.
• Eva-Lina Rymasz placed 6th in the U19 category.

These results represent a "new raid" for the delegation of young climbers from Reunion Island.
