Tom Lamarque, French Triathlon Champion

Tom Lamarque was crowned French Minimes Triathlon Champion on June 1, 2025, during a race held in Saulxures, in the Vosges.
This victory marks the third crown of his season, Lamarque having already won titles in UNSS cross country and duathlon .
During this national competition, Tom Lamarque beat William Chapuis , another Reunion Island athlete from ORT. Reunion Island thus achieved a "magnificent feat" by placing its two athletes in the first two places at this event.
The president of the Lamarque club, Leu Triathlon , Jean-Paul Mardaye, commented on this event. He considers that this performance is due to the qualities of the athlete as well as the "excellent work of his coaches." Mardaye also expressed pride in his club, Leu Triathlon, which is a young organization (barely six years old). He is pleased to see that the structure put in place around young athletes is bearing fruit so quickly.
